For most NZ backyards, a 12ft trampoline is the best all-rounder. Our Superfly X 8ft (2440mm frame) suits compact sections, while the 14ft and 15ft give families the most jumping room. Leave at least 2m clearance around the frame per Safekids Aotearoa guidelines — if you're unsure between two sizes, go bigger.

It depends on size. Our 8ft Superfly X supports 120kg, the 10ft handles 170kg, and the 12ft, 14ft, and 15ft are all rated to 220kg — enough for an adult and child bouncing together. That's total combined weight on the mat at one time, not per person.

Our Superfly X range is designed for ages 6 to 96, with adult supervision recommended at all times. The 8ft suits younger children but should be limited to one bouncer due to its smaller 2010mm mat. The 10ft and above comfortably handle teens and adults. Children under 3 should not use any trampoline.

Look for an enclosure net that connects directly to the mat with no gaps underneath. Our Superfly X uses a patented sleeve-and-pin design that stays taut without loose straps, with interlocking D-rings sealing the net to the mat edge. Spring pads are reversible 20mm PVC foam covering every spring. Net height is 180cm across all sizes.

Safekids Aotearoa recommends at least 2m around the edge and 7.3m overhead clearance. Never place a trampoline next to a fence, wall, or tree. To help you measure: our 8ft frame is 2440mm across, the 12ft is 3660mm, and the 15ft is 4570mm. If it's tight, the 8ft fits spaces that larger models can't.

Our Superfly X frames are galvanised steel with powder-coated legs, built for year-round NZ conditions. The American-made jumping mat is UV-resistant polypropylene, the PVC safety pads are waterproof and fade-resistant, and a ground anchor kit is included for exposed or windy sites. Note that surface rust is normal wear and isn't covered under warranty.

Most families finish in 1.5–3 hours with two adults. Our 8ft ships in one carton, the 10ft and 12ft in two, and the 14ft and 15ft in three — check all cartons are present before starting. The trickiest part is stretching the mat springs and attaching the net poles, which is much easier with a second pair of hands.

Our Superfly X carries 10 years on the galvanised steel frame, 5 years on the jump mat and springs, 3 years on the safety pad and net, and 1 year on accessories — covering manufacturing defects under normal domestic use. Defects must be reported within 60 days of discovery. Warranty claims are handled directly by Trade Tested.

Yes. Replacement safety pads, jump mats, springs, enclosure nets, and net poles are all available from Trade Tested — each size has its own specific parts. Contact support@tradetested.co.nz or call 0800 800 880 with your trampoline model and the part you need.

Clean monthly with warm soapy water — dirt build-up accelerates wear. Never use solvents or harsh chemicals. Inspect before each use and replace any worn or damaged parts. If water gets trapped inside the safety padding, lift the pads from the inside edge to drain. In areas with extreme cold, remove and store the safety pads indoors over winter to prevent cracking.

Ground stakes are included with every Superfly X trampoline. We strongly recommend using them, especially in exposed or windy sites. In extreme weather such as strong winds, hail, or lightning, secure the trampoline and consider using a protective cover. Always protect and secure your trampoline in high winds to prevent it from being moved.

Superfly X trampolines are delivered NZ-wide by courier. The 8ft ships in one carton, the 10ft and 12ft in two cartons, and the 14ft and 15ft in three cartons. Carton dimensions are roughly 120cm x 38cm — they'll fit through a standard garden gate or side access. Check all cartons have arrived before you start assembly.

We offer shade covers (available for 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 14ft, and 15ft models), a basketball hoop that mounts to the enclosure poles, and replacement spring packs in two sizes — 177mm for 8ft/10ft and 216mm for 12ft/14ft/15ft models.
